PARKS & SPORTS COMPLEXES:
Athletic Complex, located at 128 Armory Road, is 29 acres and features 10 lighted ball fields with seating, two concession areas and two public restrooms.
Calhoun Park, located at 1705 E. Calhoun St., is 10 acres and features a lighted softball field, a large picnic pavilion, play equipment and a public restroom.
Davey Dogwood Park, located at 900 N. Link St.( adjacent to N. Loop 256), is 254 acres and features over five and a half miles of hard surfaced roads and unincorporated hiking trails. There is a covered pavilion and several picnic sports located in this park.
Greens Park, located at 3 Tip St., is 20 acres and features a basketball court, playground equipment, an 18-hole disc course and picnic areas.
Larry Street Park, located at 910 Larry St., is one acre and features playground equipment, a picnic pavilion and a public restroom facility.
Mitchell Campbell Field, located on Laura St. at Kickapoo St., is three acres and features a lighted baseball field and a public restroom.
Reagan Park, located on Crockett Road and E. Park Avenue, is 16.1 acres and features two playgrounds, ADA-accessible
Steven Bennett Park, located on North Loop 256 and Wanda Street( adjacent to the YMCA), is 22.5 acres and features three softball fields, four fitness stations, a lighted soccer field, a boardwalk nature trail, playground equipment, a basketball court and two picnic pavilions.
Veterans Memorial Park, located at 617 W. Spring St., features engraved memorial bricks and commemorative plaques honoring local veterans, a replica of the“ Angel in Grief” statue and a Huey helicopter.
Willie Myers Park, located on South Dorrance St. at W. Campbell St., is 2.4 acres and features a basketball court, a playground, a large picnic pavilion and a public restroom.
