TEXAS STATE RAILROAD DEPOT AND CAMPGROUND: The Texas State Railroad Depot provides a glimpse into the past with its storyboards containing historical details. The Rusk Depot features a“ Wall of Fame” that showcases the many filming projects in which the depot played a part. It’ s rock exterior is reminiscent of the Works Progress Administration despite its construction in the 1970s.
The Campground offers 71 camping sites, picnic tables, grills, fire rings, a laundry facility and WiFi, along with separate showers, restrooms and on-site splash pad. There are nature trails and a the 15-acre Cherokee Lake for fishing.

TREASURE COVE MALL: Treasure Cove Mall is an indoor market with more than 30 vendors selling antiques, vintage items and collectibles. One never knows what hidden gem might be discovered or what unique gift item may be found. From furniture to figurines, many treasures await. Children and pets are welcome.

VANISHING TEXANA MUSEUM: The Vanishing Texana Museum is home to many artifacts depicting life in and around Jacksonville. The museum features permanent displays as well as rotating and special exhibits. The collection includes antiquities, curiosities and collectibles. Some of the items are on loan from local residents. Hours of operation are from 11 a. m. until 4 p. m. Thursday through Saturday.
The museum is situated inside the Hazel Tilton Park at 302 S. Bolton Street in Jacksonville.
