Callaway said his guide service season is typically from May to September. Customers fishing on the Texas coastline can take home an Atlantic Sharpnose, Blacktip, Bonnethead, Hammerhead, Bull, Finetooth, Spinner, Lemon, Blacknose, Thresher, Tiger, Blue Shortfin, Mako or Nurse shark. He also offers stingray gigging guides for his clients.
Callaway said personally, he conducted around 200 fishing trips this year and his guides did around 100.
This has been a good year for Callaway who made Fox News in July with a video of him helping his client, Treyton Linder, bring in a 12 foot, 1,000 pound tiger shark in Pensacola, Florida. That video went viral.
However, the tiger shark was not his biggest catch to date. Callaway said he caught a 13 foot Hammerhead shark one November and his buddy caught a 12 foot Hammerhead shark during the same fishing trip.
