North of Palestine on Hwy 287 , you will find Rock Bottom Ranch . Established in August of 2018 by director Kelly Tinley , Rock Bottom Ranch is a place for women coming out of incarceration , seeking to break free of addictive behavior and change the direction of their lives . The Rock Bottom Ranch Program is faith based and focuses on several different areas of skills , including personal development , job skills , financial education , parenting & marriage classes , trauma healing , relationship building , spiritual guidance and more . Each program participant is provided with room and board at the Ranch for the 12-month voluntary program . They are given clothing and hygiene in a protected environment where they can grow , mature and be transformed by the power of God . In addition to instruction in physical and emotional well- being , training in the Word of God is an integral part of the Rock Bottom curriculum . Tinley and her staff are doing God ’ s work here on earth and deserve much praise for their efforts in helping to change the lives of the women who choose to participate .

Community Mpact wants to have just that , an impact on underserved youth and older members of the community , eager to provide them with the much-needed attention they deserve . The organization has partnered with Palestine ISD , Mr . Williams ’ alma-mater , to adopt A . M . Story Intermediate School for the 2024-2025 school year and plans to be heavily involved with the students by being present , encouraging , supportive and listening to their needs . In August 2024 , Williams and fifteen chaperones took fifty students from A . M .
Fresh on the scene to service here in Palestine is Community MPact . Established in 2023 , Community Mpact is led by local businessman Ernie Williams . Seeking to help and guide both young and old in our neighborhoods , the goal of Community MPact is to provide a Boys and Girls Club in an under-served neighborhood in Palestine . Williams aims to provide after school tutoring , by retired educators , to those students for which it will be beneficial . He is hoping to impart a positive and safe environment for the children . Williams will also encourage the adults in the neighborhood to
