Blacktop Mojo
Palestine ’ s Blacktop Mojo is responsible for some amazing rock music , but “ rock ” is far too simple a category for this band . Founded by vocalist Matt James and drummer Nathan Gillis in 2012 , the band falls somewhere between Soundgarden and Lynyrd Skynyrd on the genre scale , perhaps with a sprinkling of GNR and ZZ Top .
Blacktop Mojo released their first album , I Am , in 2014 followed by Burn the Ships in 2017 , Under the Sun in 2019 , Blacktop Mojo in 2021 and an EP , Static , in 2020 .
