Biographies from the Creative Team:
I’m a college student at Oakland University studying graphic design. I’ve always lived in
Michigan, and throughout my life I’ve discovered different passions. I love to draw and
paint and I am very involved in physical fitness and health! I’ve played soccer since I was
five years old and have participated in other sports such as dance, karate, tennis, horse-
back riding, and archery. I also love to travel, having been to countries such as Iceland,
Switzerland, and Spain! When I finish college, I would love to work as a corporate graph-
ic designer while doing freelance design on the side. I plan to eventually move up to be-
come a creative director of a company, or maybe even opening up my own design firm.
The opportunities are endless and I can’t wait to see what the future holds!

I am a second year undergraduate student at Oakland University majoring in biology.
Next year I plan on participating in a study abroad in Perth, Australia for more hands on
research with marine life. Then I will be continuing my education in veterinary medicine
for the four years following my degree here, and am currently work at the Ann Arbor Ani-
mal Hospital on emergency hours. I love what I do there as a veterinary assistant which
makes thinking about the eight years of my life and all the debt from school slightly easier
to handle. I was a Track & Field athlete with OU last year, and will be continuing my
exercise through teaching as a group fitness instructor in the fall of 2018. Another major
love of mine is the arts, and therefore I try to make time for the Oakland Chorus in my
schedule to keep singing. Maybe I can find a way to incorporate that into my medical fu-
ture!

Hello readers! I am a second year student at Oakland University. I am a political science
major and have declared a theatre and cinema studies minor. My ultimate goal is to ma-
triculate to law school and become an Intellectual Property lawyer. Over this summer I
will be going to the Toronto Film Festival because who wouldn’t want to spend a week
