like being in the zone, and all the prep and sacrifices felt worth it.”
The Malaysian women’ s team, Thunderstorm, fought their way to an outstanding second place finish in the WNXL 3v3 Division, marking one of the proudest achievements for Malaysia on the European stage. The momentum continued with K-Troopers taking second place in Division 4 X-Ball, and Sekito securing third in the Amateur 3v3. For many teams, these results were a reward for years of effort and a reminder that Malaysian paintball belongs on the world map. Teams KPM and Raskal Avengers participated in Division 3 X-Ball and Amateur 3v3 respectively while Unknown reached the Quarterfinals in Division 4 X-Ball
Beyond the field, players embraced Paris itself. From visits to the iconic Eiffel Tower to wandering the halls of the Louvre Museum, viewing works like the Mona Lisa, the trip was a celebration of culture as well as sports competition.“ Yes, it drained us financially and physically,” Wawa admitted,“ but the memories and experience made it priceless. Looking back, it’ s the kind of journey you don’ t forget.”
Behind the scenes, family and community bonds shaped the experience. Jet Lee, coowner of Unknown, played a fatherly role by cooking for the team. www. paintball. media
