Malaysia Makes Its Mark at NXL Europe in Dreux, France
Paris in the summer was a stage for some of the world’ s best paintball, and this year Malaysia made sure its presence was felt. With the largest Asian contingent at the NXL Europe Championships, the Malaysian players went with determination, heart, and a hunger to test themselves against the best.
The road to France was no small feat. With Malaysia’ s dynamic sporting culture, paintball clubs put in their hearts and sweat to secure opportunities for individuals to grow in the sport and to ensure the national flag was represented in Europe. Livestreams and social media rallied support from the Malaysian and Asian paintball communities, acknowledging both the individuals’ and their families’ dedication. All who made the journey capitalized on the experience, treating each match as an opportunity to grow. Despite substantial sacrifices, once competition began, focus and adrenaline replaced concerns as players embraced the chance to compete internationally.
That spirit carried across all the Malaysian teams, from the Malaysia UPBF Women’ s squad to clubs like Thunderstorm, Kelab
