The ICPL format is simple old school , twoflag , capture-the-flag paintball . The rate-offire is capped at 5.5 balls per second and any gun that can be fired at the rate is allowed . There was a mix of traditional mechanical guns as well as electronic markers all over the fields . For this event two fields were used in the ten-man : one Hyperball field and one woodsball field . The five-man portion of the event was played only on the Hyperball field .
