As the bodies were whittled down , it ended in a 2 on 1 in which Taylor , rather than concede , would walk into Tim Brussellbeck ’ s lane to stop the clock and walked off , literally , leaving it all on the field .
In the final point of the match , an injured Josh Taylor would take the field and push his way up to the 50 snake as if to prove a point . Patrick Kraft attempted a move on him , but tripped over the referee midfield in the process , and with that Infamous put the nail in the coffin for
New York Xtreme to see if they can fight their way back into the Pro field .
Impact would break the hearts of the Ironmen who played a clean tournament and looked solid all weekend , but just couldn ’ t quite put it all together . Impact gave them a push around , securing a 6-4 victory , coming out of the prelims undefeated , and bumping the Ironmen out of contention in the Ochos .
The other undefeated team in the prelims was ac : Diesel , who advanced to the quarterfinals with tremendous anticipation growing around them .
