What is the future of the game ? “ I saw where [ paintball ] fields used to have a problem even intergrading airsoft , fields are now offering diversified entertainment package to their clients . So many of them now calling themselves a ‘ paintball entertainment park ’ or ‘ paintball and airsoft ’, live action things like axe throwing , mud runs . Two years ago we saw the introduction Gellyball onto it ... I think people wanted to see it out there and now it ’ s been at a number of fields and a lot of mobile business adapted it particularly in the bounce house industry . If you have the land inventory , you do it . The future for paintball entertainment parks is going to be a diversification product offerings . They don ’ t all have to be centered around only paintball . If you have the land inventory , how do you use it properly and then you know it ’ s math that it comes down to how to position yourself , how do you mark yourself or you ’ re in the right location for this kind of thing . Do you have to client base , the population , customers are much more sophisticated . I see tht there was great value for the dealer because they could get a lot out of the classes . They had a lot of one-one-one time with the instructors and they still had the time to hit the show floor and be able to have time with the other distributors or people selling products that they want to use or even consider integrating . A new paintball field that started as recently as five years ago , now have several product offerings and they ’ re adapting to future tread quickly .” Thomas Ghee , Paintball Extravaganza .
What are your thoughts on being a first timer to the Paintball Extravaganza , but also an industry veteran . “ I thought I was coming for a family reunion and it turns out 32 years of attending conferences and instructing classes … there ’ s still stuff for me to learn . It was amazing I got 5 or 6 really good things , that are probably gonna make me money , and make me happier which is more important than the money in the future .” Charles “ Happy ” Holton .
