Looking back at your playing career , which was more special … winning with Image or winning with Baltimore Trauma ?
This is a tough one to answer : The first win with Image was a major hump for the team to get over and proved we belonged in the top tier of professional paintball . Baltimore Trauma was completely different in that the win was more for the kids than it was for me ! We had accomplished something great ! We took a group of highly talented high school kids and groomed them into bad ass paintball players .
What is the future of tournament paintball ?
I would have been worried if 2020 World Cup would of been a disaster but seeing the numbers , it showed me that the desire [ to play ] will always be there .
Paintball is like no other game when you have a group of people that can get together compete and still have a blast even when you lose . I think travel will have a bearing on attendance for some period of time but the hope is it will pass .
The fact is that people want to know where they stand in world class competition at NXL events and other local paintball tournaments they will continue .
