You were instrumental in the early growth of the bodybuilding movement and you founded the Survival Game , now called paintball . Have you ever reflected on those two huge accomplishments ?
To be honest , I don ’ t reflect much on my involvement with either bodybuilding or paintball , believing as I do that if you are not going forward you are going backward . Both of them were great fun to be engaged with , and I am grateful for them being sort of dropped in my lap at times in my life when I had the interest and energy to try and make something out of them . I ’ d be lying if I said I am not a little proud of what we were able to accomplish in both areas , but also – given the eccentricity of both – I am equally surprised by it . I worked with some great people in getting both bodybuilding and paintball off the ground , many of whom are still dear friends ; those people and the fun we had are what stand out whenever I do have occasion to think back on those days . www . paintball . media
