the same to most of us . It ’ s a ten-man game played in the woods , on a hyperball field and a hybrid field … just like back in the day .
This event , the ICPL Old Bay Classic , was held at OXCC Paintball in Chesapeake City , Maryland — one of the best fields on the east coast and beyond . Three fields were used for this event including a woodsball field very reminiscent of “ Ponderosa ” at Jerry Braun ’ s field in Newburg , New York where many an NPPL event was held . A classic style Hyperball field and a combination hybrid ( woods , trenches , man-made bunkers ) were also used .
The Old Bay Classis also saw a handful of vendors on hand , both to sell their products and to tech guns for the players . As usual , this year ’ s ICPL Old Bay Classic once again saw bright sunny skies and 90-plus degrees for most of the weekend . www . paintball . media
