Sacramento Diamonds Rebranded as St . Louis Arch Angels
In a heavily anticipated release , the WNXL announced the collapse of one its original franchises early this month , laying to rest rumors that have been circulating about struggling teams and internal discord amongst some squads .
The Sacramento Diamonds franchise , which was owned by Karen and Dave Bains of Capital Edge Paintball in Sacramento , California officially transferred ownership to Dustin Loeffler of Good Game “ GG ” Paintball Park in St . Louis , Missouri . The move was publicly announced with little fanfare through a post on social media on July 3 .
The organization is being rebranded as The St . Louis Arch Angels .
Loeffler , a 15-year plus veteran of the sport , also owns and operates a number of teams under the gg Factory brand ranging from Division 5 through Semi-Pro . Insiders report that he had expressed interest in a WNXL franchise and was slated to launch his brand as an expansion team for the 2024 season . Struggles within the Diamonds organization opened up an opportunity for him to expedite his plan .
