We were surprised to see all female teams playing in the event . How did that come about ?
There were also two 5-man female teams who played a few points . The main purpose was to show that girls could play Paintball competitively as well .
What ’ s your history in paintball ? When did you start playing ? What teams did you play on ? Etc .
The first time I played was mid-2005 , on the same field where the tournament was held . Only played speedball here . Played for teams called Giv and Swat .
What is the stat of the game in Iran today ? How many paintball fields are there in Iran ?
Currently , there are 6 or 7 active recreational fields in the country . The most equipped field ( speedball ) is located in a city called Bandar Abbas which is south of Iran . They are the only paintball field using latest NXL Sup ’ air set .
In the past two years , there have been no national tournaments ( last time was on 2018 in Tehran ). I can say ‘ tournament paintball ’ is dead here and not quite sure when there ’ ll be a national event .
