What more can we do as an industry to overcome that reputation ?
Maybe I have a little different perspective on this question . I think paintball is squeaky clean today compared to what it was when promoters were getting truckloads of paint for free and charging $ 100 a box for it at their events . Or when Eddie Dovner was knocking off everyone ’ s designs and selling them for half price . Yeah , there ’ s work to be done for sure , but I think things never last for the shady ones .
What are your plans for the future
Josh Silverman , John Amodea , Tom Kaye , 2002 Grand Finale within the sport ?
I ’ m at that point in my life and career that I am asking myself that question often . I still love this game and our role in it , so I ’ m not ready to step away yet . But that day will come eventually . For now , we ’ re still planning and working as we always have . I don ’ t know Cheryl , maybe you can take this thing over when I ’ m done [ smiles ].
What are your hopes for the sport in the future ? And what could the common player do to help progress that goal ?
