Cheryl: Any remarkable moments for the team as a whole? Any fun insider stories?
Mike: Mmm. It’ s tough when mostly in the CP.( laughs)
From what I did see the ammo depot mission late in the day on Saturday. Both sides sent just about every one of their active divisions into a phone booth. German players were in the depot which took a heavy counter-attack- to the point of an Allied tank parking almost touching the building. German players relaytossed the prop back to get it to safe lines.
It was a face to face fight for about 25-30 minutes before the prop got dropped. There’ s always one of these really, just chaotic points every IoN. That was one of the wildest. So pumped I was able to go see it.( laughs)
Cheryl: Any shout outs you want to give on that?
Mike: I’ d like to give a shoutout to anyone on my staff.
They busted their butts the whole weekend answering radios and being on field making sure that people were in the correct positions:
Jeff Conklin( RTM) Dan Hamilton( Guerrilla Company) Sam Bear Scott( Legion) John Lake( Mayhem)
I’ d like to shout out to the perpetual teams who play German year in and year out!
And lastly, the walkons or the unaffiliated German teams. All weekend I had players and teams I didn’ t know walking up asking how they could help. [ It ] really made my job a lot easier. www. paintball. media
