The tournament featured three divisions- 5-Star, 4-Star, and 3-Star. In the premier 5-Star Division( akin to Division 1), Thailand dominated. Infernal took the top spot, followed by Inception, Asawa, and Speed. The 4-Star Division saw a more diverse spread. Myanmar’ s Golden Dragons soared to first, Singapore’ s Red Dynasty clinched second, while Thailand’ s CNX Daemon and Sultan came in third and fourth. Meanwhile, the 3-Star Division brought international flair and fresh talent. Australia’ s 2MC team emerged champions, Aisawan Ladies International secured a strong second-place
finish, Thailand’ s Sultan held steady in third, and Menace rounded out the top four.
The RaceTo split-deck format kept things fast-paced and unforgiving. Game formats were 6-minute RaceTo, 9-minute Race-3 and 12-minute Race-3 in the respective divisions. 4-Star Division was completed on Saturday while the other 2 Divisions on Sunday. For Red Dynasty, that meant 6 prelim games, a quarterfinal, semifinal and final – all in one day. It demanded stamina, endurance and serious mental game. By the end of it, my teammate FedoDedo joked that we all sounded like hee-hawing donkeys.
