The ICPL Pittsburgh Open Classic was held this August 1-3 at Urban Assault Paintball field in McDonald, Pennsylvania. The event featured 18 teams playing in the ten Versus Ten Pro Division, 28 in the Ten Versus Ten Amateur Division, 5 in the Five Versus Five Pro Division and 12 in the Five Versus Five Amateur Division.

Intro By John Amodea: The 2025 ICPL Pittsburgh Open Classic has roots that go back to the mid-1990s when the National Professional Paintball League( NPPL) held one of its yearly tour stops at Urban Assault Paintball Field. This was the introduction of the mounds fields concept which quickly became a player and fan favorite. The mounds fields at Urban Assault in McDonald, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh, were some of the first spectatorfriendly Pro paintball fields in the tournament game’ s history.
