Planet Eclipse won’t quit it. Again and again those guys
keep bringing out great products we can’t find anything
wrong with. Markers like the LV-1, Geo, ETek and the Etha,
great soft goods like gear bags that practically ne ver wear
out, playing pants and jerseys, attractive casual clothing
and even tactical gear keeps on coming out and being
updated, improving every time. To make matters worse,
teams using Eclipse gear won’t quit winning stuff, like
Edmonton Impact when they won world titles on both
sides of the Atlantic last year shooting Geos. Now Eclipse
is doing it again, this time with their barrels. What were
already solid, well-engineered anodized aluminum tubes
that shot paintballs straight are better than ever with the

the Shaft barrel line by providing owners the ability to
use Freak and Super Freak bore sized inserts to match
their barrel to their paintballs. This is the first insert
system released by Eclipse and as is their signature, they
couldn’t just release just another barrel that does things
like everyone else, they had to put their own unique twist
on the concept by adding a threaded “joiner section”
to the front end of the barrel back, allowing the inserts
to slide in from the front and seat against a lip in the
barrel back near the breech, eliminating the chance of a
paintball being forced against the sharp, tapered edge
of the Freak insert. Shaft 3 and Shaft 4 barrel fronts are
compatible with the Shaft FR barrel, as is the other new
barrel release from Eclipse, the Shaft Pro tip.

Using input from the pro teams and players in the Eclipse
stable, Planet Eclipse redesigned their Shaft barrel tip
