MARKEreview The New Tippmann TCR Tippmann has been a brand you can count on since the dawn of paintball. As we all may know, Tippmann did not start out as a paintball manufacturer. Originally they manufactured collectible, half-scale replica machine guns but in 1986 when gun laws changed, it forced them to reevaluate their business. Seeing as how the guns they already knew how to make shared the same principles of a paintball gun, they decided to go into the paintball business. Their goal was to make high-performance, durable products that people could afford. Today, some years later they have met and exceeded that goal. I had the pleasure of reviewing one of their newest additions to the paintball world, The TCR Magfed Marker. 078 paintball magazine By Alicia and Colton Bane The paintball marker itself is built around the already popular TiPX pistol platform and offers players reliabilit y and flexibility. The gun comes standard with an Allen wrench set, grease, a squeegee, flip top sights, folding front vertical handle, a collapsible stock with additional mag carrier, an 11 inch barrel, as well as a 7 ball and a 12 ball magazine. What I really found convenient about this gun though is your choice in air sources. You can either choose a 12-gram CO2 inserted into a built-in quick changer in the body, or you use a remote line system via the drop down remote line port. Both of the air sources work fantastically.
