If you get hit, you either return to your base or one of the respawn points to re-enter the game. At around 7pm, the game ends for the day. Points are awarded for flag captures and possession time as well as for won missions. Friday’s and Saturday’s scores are added, and the winning team will be announced on Saturday night. What is the venue like? As mentioned above, the site is a former soviet air base. So you can find a lot of Warsaw Pact-era buildings from the 1980’s, some still with the distinct Russian writing on it or some pieces of wall art. In the north you can find a runway and hangars. The infamous Mil-Mi 24 (the helicopter from Rambo II) was located here, ready to attack the NATO forces some 80km away. A lot of machinery, mostly tanks, trucks and jeeps is still there – and you can drive it! This is another exciting part about the location: The “Tank Driving School” www.Panzer-Power.de, where you can hop on the driver’s seat of any of the vehicles they got there. Or you get in the back of a BMP tank and let one of the owners drive with full speed over a wavy dirt track. Nothing for a weak stomach! Besides the camp ground you will find the trade show, with paintball shops, free tech services, a caterer and a stage. Restrooms and hot water showers are also set up and to use free of charge. Anything else you’d like to add? Well… Book NOW! This is one of the greatest events you can play this year! • • • www.paintball.media 061
