capturing flags or simply get some kills? Your choice. You can even be lucky and take a seat in the gunner’s position in one of the paintball tanks. Is it a scenario game or a regular big game? As mentioned before, you decide. You can go on the field alone or with some friends and fight for flag positions, or you join one of our units. Those units receive difficult scenario missions that have to be solved, but also have special abilities. Paratrooper units, for example, can be deployed anywhere on the field – even in the enemy’s back! Do players and teams come from all over Europe for the game? Yes, something we are very proud of. There are the German neighbors, of course, like the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Swiss, France and Poland. Some teams from further away even charter a bus for the trip. We also had visitors from the USA and Russia, and I heard rumors about some guys from South Africa coming this year. Tell us a bit about how the game usually plays out? out there: buildings, bunkers, open roads for the players who like it urban. There are woods where you can hide, but also jungle-like areas, where trees grow so dense that you can move only on narrow paths. And then there are our trenches – huge labyrinth-like structures that cause massive and epic battles. In fact, we are currently planning a whole new trench system, aiming for it to become the largest in Germany. And last but not least, the game. You can choose your own style of play, either sneaking around and sniping the enemy team, or you can storm the enemy front with your battle cry and blazing guns. Playing scenario missions, 060 paintball magazine The game usually starts at 10 in the morning. This gives every player enough time to get coffee in his veins and air in the tank. Both teams try to gain as much room as possible, of course. Some small scenario missions are handed out as well. Shortly after, the units receive their first more complex tasks and start stirring up the game. One unit usually has around 50-75 players, when so many people work together, you don’t want to be on the wrong side! There are some hot spots on the field, where you can be sure to find big battles. But because of the size of the field, you can outflank your enemies, if you’re determined.
