Northwest Rogue started in 2014 as
a collection of players from different
teams that had the same goal—to play
competitively in tournament paintball
with a priority for the UWL (Ultimate
Woodsball League). And although the
team’s goal is to compete in the UWL
and Classic paintball events, NW Rogue
has played in a ton of events overall the
past few years, including the West Coast
Classic, the UWL, Three-Man Madness
at Diamond Hill Paintball, the Bay Cities
Classic, the NXL World Cup and the Five
Alive Winter Open, just to name a few.

Northwest Rogue has been practicing
in the woods and on the Hyperball field
this off-season and scrimmaging against
other northwest teams like Seattle
Thunder and the Dogs regularly. Mays
continued, “Classic practices are now
our primary focus. We’re looking to hone
our communication for the large ten-man
spread.
With the UWL not running events in 2019
Northwest Rogue has shifted its efforts to
bringing more young talent to the team
and with the new ICPL they are excited
to get back to what the team was born
to do, while bringing their young players
to the classic format. NW Rogue’s team
captain Erich Mays told us, “We are
