paintballs, but again, we use the best ingredients possible
so that each paintball is made to shoot straight every
time. Our paintballs are also made with pharmaceutical
grade ingredients, meaning, you could actually ingest the
paintball and you would be fine... we DO NOT recommend
doing this at all... it probably doesn’t taste good either.
We currently offer 4 grades of paint: Weapons Grade,
Killabeez, Toxic, and Elixir. Our goal with WPN paint is to
offer the most consistent paintball as possible. We actually
QC our paint when it comes in!
How was the response to your paint at the Extravaganza?
The experience was really good.... it was the first time that
we brought WPN paintballs to Extravaganza. We were
excited to show the rest of the world that WPN paintballs
were back. We wanted to show why WPN paintballs were
so popular back in the day and that the formulations were
still the same as before. Nothing has changed other than
D3FY SPORTS is now distributing the paint. We had a lot
of foot traffic at our booth and I got to meet a lot of new
people as well as see some old friends in the industry.
People got to see the paint up close and really see the
quality of paint that we are producing. It was definitely a
successful show!
How was the show in general for D3FY?
The show was a total success. We got new accounts, which
is always a plus! Again, I got to meet new people and see
some old friends. I always look forward to the Extravaganza
show every year.

Players are pretty shocked when they see us out there...
guess other companies don’t really do that, so that’s a
good thing.
What do you think of the state of the industry and
game of paintball right now?
I definitely think that the industry is on the upswing. There
was a short period of time where paintball kind of died...
but now I see more and more people getting into the
sport, which is great! We need more people to play in
order for the industry to survive. It’s the responsibility of
all the companies in paintball to promote and grow the
sport. At the end of the day, if the sport dies, then all of
the companies go as well... so D3FY SPORTS makes it a
point to try and promote the sport of paintball as much
as possible. We do D3FY Days, which is where we bring
out our tent, markers, paint, masks, and all the other
equipment needed to play. We invite family and friends
to come out and enjoy a day of paintball. This way, people
who haven’t played before don’t feel intimidated by more
experienced players and get to play among st themselves
in a private game. We hope to be doing more of those this
year as we keep getting requests to do it again!
Is there anything you think can be changed to better
the game or experience?

Well, we are working on a couple of new projects. Be on
the lookout for those new items later on this year. We have
masks and tanks in the works right now. We want to be
able to offer our customers a full line of products and be a
one-stop shop for them. We also have a few other projects
that we are currently working on, so stay tuned!

I think that the more people that go out and experience
paintball, the better the game and experience will be.
When you get new players, the sport is growing and
evolving. We all want the sport of paintball to continue to
grow and thrive, so getting new players out onto the field
is something that is paramount. It’s a family experience as
well... you see families out at the field having a great time
which is awesome. I hope that all the companies involved
with paintball continue to put out great products and
continue to grow and promote the sport of paintball!

We will have to see as we are working on a bunch of
projects right now. We do pop up from time to time at
local fields. We have players that work for D3FY SPORTS,
so it’s nice to get out there and play and to test our
