The second and probably the hardest thing to learn is that if you spend all your money on gear, then you cannot afford to play. Let that sink in for a moment. Why buy the most expensive gear for it to only sit in a gear bag at the back of the closet with all the other things that you don’ t want your parents or spouse to know about?
Lastly … and this is not just a paintball lesson, but a life lesson … DO NOT trust anyone that claims to know“ everything” about paintball. There is entirely too much to know and if you love this sport, you will always be learning new things. Unless the person giving advice is named Bud Orr. These players however are getting completely overwhelmed by all the options out there and very few have unlimited funds at our disposal, so we must make our choices based on our budget.
