Miss Captivating 2020 and the pageant system is National Captivating Pag-
eants
Describe your platform:
My platform is titled “Until every relationship is healthy and safe.” A year ago
my life was forever changed when my aunt was murdered in her home due
to a domestic violence escalation with her daughter and the father of their
kids. Violence against women is a huge issue today and in domestic violence
situations when a weapon is involved the chance of a homicide is significantly
higher. As the National Miss Captivating I am saying no more. I want to ed-
ucate others on this issue and raise awareness. I want to help you her girls
increase their self esteem and learn how to develop healthy relationships so
that no one else will have to go through what my family is going through

Elite National 2019 American Woman of Service
Describe your platform:
My platform is Blue Hope Nation, a support group for individuals with col-
orectal cancer and their families along with an awareness group to promote
early detection and treatment.
Name: Kristin Wilson
What is/was your winning title?
In 2014, I held the state title of Ms. West Virginia United States.Presently, I
am Miss Marion County 2019 and will go on to compete at Miss West Virginia
for America in February.
Describe your platform:
My platform, Crowned with Empowerment, is designed to empower victims
of sexual abuse to make the transition into survivors. Promoting my platform
has empowered me to make the transition myself through evaluating how I
can turn such a negative experience into a positive one by helping others.
