This is the 2nd edition in New Delhi in conjunction with drink technology India, organ- ized by Messe Munchen India. pacprocess and food pex India are members of the interpack alliance that addresses target groups of food, beverages, con- fectionary and baked goods, among others. interpack is the focal point for all industry trends and innovations and brings together leading minds in the industry. Together, these co-located events have attracted over 200 exhibitors participating from more than 10 countries, with India being the prominent one, including China, France, Ko- rea, Japan, Germany, Spain, It- aly, and Turkey. The event pre- sents technologies from food, beverage, pharma, confection- ary and bakery segments. LIMITATIONS IN THE INDUSTRY GROWTH PATH Lately, there have been certain limitations in the growth path in the industry. Certain con- trol measures from the govern- ment specifies banning single- use plastic. Overuse of paper too isn’t favorable to the envi- ronment. “We do agree with practic- es and products encouraging the environment. Therefore, in my opinion, despite all these arrangements, the industry has found newer innovations to comply with such standards. The event will feature an in- novative gamut of recyclable products that will make the show most anticipated,” says Thomas Schlitt, managing di- rector of Messe Dusseldorf In- dia. TRANSFORMATION OF THE PACKAGING INDUSTRY Due to shift in focus towards re- sponsible practices, the pack- aging industry is going through a revolutionary transforma- tion. Messe Dusseldorf India anticipates around 10,000 plus visitors in the three days of the exhibition.
