Not too long ago Time magazine and CNN conducted a poll . They asked people all across America : " Do you believe Christ will come before the year 2000 ?" Their survey indicated that 20 % said " yes " and 31 % said they didn ' t know . Think of it ! Up to half of the people in America are thinking about the fact that Christ could return soon .
A Barna Report Study asked people across America : " Do you think the world is out of control ?" 65 % said " yes ".
And in a major survey high school students across America were asked the question : " Do you believe that you will live to old age ?" 35 % said " no ".
There is something happening across the world . Something bothersome and scary . It ' s as though our world is out of control and we don ' t know how to stop it .
