Emergency Preparedness
Due to the variety of possible disasters and emergencies, being prepared is a crucial component in the recovery process. Most companies have a disaster plan, but rarely address home preparations. This course is designed to give information and tools vital to the task of disaster preparedness. Learn about common emergencies, how to create evacuation plans and disaster supply kits, as well as getting information on local agencies that help with resources.

Fall Protection Awareness

Designed for personnel with frequent exposure to fall hazards. Topics include: regulatory overview; guardrails, safety nets, personal fall arrest systems, and other protective systems; inspection, use, and maintenance of personal protective equipment. Includes a hands-on training session with harnesses, lanyards, self-retracting lifelines, anchor points, etc.

Fall Protection for the Competent Person

Designed for individuals who may be exposed to fall hazards in the workplace and / or may be designated by the employer as the Fall Protection Competent Person on a site. This course enables individuals to recognize the hazards of falling and to correctly use procedures to minimize these hazards. Topics include: fall hazards; selection, installation, maintenance, and inspection of fall protection systems, including guardrails, personal fall arrest systems, safety nets, warning lines, safety monitors, controlled access zones, and covers; and, the role of the Competent Person in fall protection plans. Includes hands-on training sessions with a variety of fall protection systems.

Forklift Instructor
This professional training program covers all areas of lift truck operation, maintenance and safe practice. Participants will receive a complete presentation package including: guidelines, test, forms, inspections and performance checklists, OSHA background information, exercises for conducting hands-on training and instructional videos or DVD. A standard sit-down lift is used for the skills test.
