OSHA 10-hour Construction
This course is designed for personnel as a safety orientation with emphasis on hazard identification,
avoidance, control and prevention. Topics include, but are not limited to: Introduction to OSHA; Focus Four
(fall hazards, electrical hazards, struck-by hazards, and caught-in / between hazards); PPE; Material Handling;
Tools – Hand and Power; Scaffolds; Stairways and Ladders; Excavations; Cranes. Upon successful completion
of this OSHA-authorized course, participants will receive Cal-OSHA 10-Hour Construction Outreach course
completion cards.

This course is designed for personnel as a safety orientation with emphasis on hazard identification,
avoidance, control and prevention. Topics include, but are not limited to: Introduction to OSHA; Personal
Protective Equipment; Electrical; Hazard Communication; Walking and Working Surfaces; Exit Routes;
Emergency Action Plans; Fire Prevention Plans; and Fire Protection. Upon successful completion of this OSHAauthorized course, participants will receive Cal-OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Outreach course completion
cards.

OSHA 30-hour Construction
This course is designed to train personnel in the essentials of occupational safety and health in the
construction environment. This OSHA 30-Hour Outreach course covers OSHA policies, standards and
requirements, including safety and health principles for the construction industry. Our course puts emphasis
on hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention. This training is intended for people who have
some safety responsibility. Upon successful completion of this OSHA-authorized course, participants will
receive Cal-OSHA 30-Hour Construction Outreach course completion cards. Topics include, but are not limited
to: Introduction to OSHA; managing safety and health; focus four hazards; personal protective and lifesaving
equipment; health hazards in construction; scaffolds; cranes and rigging; confined space entry; powered
industrial vehicles; and stairways and ladders.
