Tamam is a politically and religiously independent aid organization working
with improving the living conditions of children and youth in Sweden and
other countries.
The organization shall fulfill its purpose through help-to-self help, focusing
on the creation of multicultural meetings places. The aim is to promote trust,
tolerance, solidarity, power of initiative, spirit of community, intercultural
dialogue and the growth of social capital. The organization also work to promote an income-generating and sustainable environment for children and
youth in exclusi. Tamam is Arabic, Turkish Macedonian and Albnanian for
‘’very good’’. For us it is ‘’tamam’’ every time a newly arrived girl or boy receives help with creating a meaningful spare time.
