LOS ANGELES CONVENTION CENTER EXPANSION Cx

Los Angeles, CA

P2S Cx is providing commissioning services for the Los Angeles Convention Center Expansion Project, a major renovation and expansion that will connect the existing West and South Halls over W. Pico Boulevard. The project adds approximately 190,000 SF of exhibit space, 55,000 SF of meeting rooms and back-of-house space, a 95,000 SF multi-purpose space, outdoor event areas, an expanded lobby with vehicle drop-off areas, and a new Central Utility Plant located at the existing west security lot. The project is currently pursuing LEED Gold certification.
Commissioning activities span the design, construction and acceptance phases. The work is planned around two major mobilizations: first to bring the new Central Utility Plant online and transition service from the existing CUP, and second to connect the new facility to the active CUP and complete final testing and commissioning.
