INCUBATOR
And now an update from our Incubator program . They ’ ve been hard at work launching initiatives like the new Level of Development : MEP Modeling Guidelines , the P2S Ambassador Program , and the Advanced Mentor Program to name just a few . We checked in with Associate Principal and Seattle Electrical Studio Leader Akshay Prabhu to learn more about his contributions .
Tell us more about the P2S Ambassador Program .
Akshay Prabhu : After interviewing a select group of employees , we realized there was an opportunity to educate our staff about company initiatives , programs , and teams . This led to the development of the P2S Ambassador Program by the Incubator Leadership T eam . Ambassadors from each group were identified and attended a kickoff meeting and kickoff workshop in August . The program officially launches this week !
How is your Advisory Board initiative looking to improve our Proposal Letter Template and fee estimating tools ?
AP : Our initiative focusses on developing specific templates for major market segments in our office and major project types . We interviewed some of the principals , project managers , and market leaders within our office to identify their pain points with the current proposal letter template and get feedback for the new template . We identified three market segments and three types of projects for this initiative and are developing a new template for each . Our team is also developing a fee estimating tool to minimize risk by capturing all scope items , assumptions , and exclisions when preparing a proposal .
What would you like to contribute to P2S throughout your career ?
AP : My current goal is to grow our Seattle electrical team with quality engineers to provide the same level of excellent service that we are currently providing in California . We have grown from 2 to 11 engineers and plan to hire a few more by the end of the year . I want to grow our P2S services in other states and eventually further east .

Massoud Safaee comes to P2S with over 27 years of experience encompassing all aspects of project delivery . Massoud has a broad range of project experience , including municipal and county governments , federal agencies , aviation , healthcare , corporate , and higher education , totaling more than 170 major projects . He has also spoken at several national conferences about healthcare IT design , and his writings have been published in several national publications . We want to give Massoud a warm welcome . We ’ re looking forward to many successful technology projects !
