I knew that if I wanted to continue working for myself in this way, I had to find a healthier balance. Because I love what I do and value being my own boss, I decided

that I needed to make and maintain some important changes regarding how I went about my work.

Below are my top tips to help find a healthy balance as a sensitive entrepreneur:

Empowering the Sensitive Soul

1. stick to a reasonable schedule

When you work for yourself, you set your own schedule, which can be a blessing or a curse depending on how thoughtful you are about it.

Set boundaries around work – Create your daily work hours and stick with them. Resist the urge to “always be working.”

Set limits on communication – Avoid checking your email and phone early in the morning, late at night or during any self-care or family time.

Make your schedule work for you – Create a daily schedule that resonates with who you are and what you need—it doesn’t have to be 9-5; it just has to work for you!

Tips for a healthy balance

I highly encourage you to create a healthy schedule, set reasonable goals, take time for self-care and fully appreciate your accomplishments. Once you create a positive relationship with your work self you are well on your way to achieving your dreams!
