Her yogic transformation was the best gift she could have given to her husband who returned from Afghanistan with PTSD. She was able to be strong for him and their family. When they moved to Germany, she started a practice in yoga and used her photography skills to file people's memories and progress. "It's so rewarding to be a teacher, to assist people who need help, working to resolve mental or physical trauma with yoga and see how it changes their lives so drastically.” She shared, “How can I not do this for the rest of my life? I wish I would not have to charge anyone because I believe everyone should have access to this process. I am currently working on a collaboration with a local military hospital and on a Yoga Therapy certification. The goal is to develop a program that can be covered by insurance, so no one is paying out of pocket to get the help they need.” Visit her website at www.concreteyoga.com
