Valentine (Lena x Emily)
“We aren’t in primary school anymore, love.”
“I know, but it’s cute!”
It was cute: about twenty five cheesey valentines with badly photoshopped puppies were scattered on their living room table, complete with various cheap candies and chocolates. Even though it’d made Lena blush, she can never resist the urge to tease her girlfriend, and this would be no exception, no matter how sweet of a gesture it was.
“I couldn’t find any individual valentines like these… And I know you don’t like huge, expensive gestures, so I thought…” Emily trails off, blushing now and glancing away shyly. God, she’s cute.
“Honey, it’s so incredibly sweet.” She closes the distance between them and places her hands on Emily’s hips. “Thank you.”
Emily’s smile returns and she squirms in Lena’s arms so she can place her hands on her cheeks. “I’m glad you like it.” When she kisses her, Lena can taste the chocolate on her lips and knows that Emily definitely ate at least half the candy that was meant for her.
