Creeper deliver a ghoulish spectacle at the Roundhouse

After half an hour of cultclassic horror movies being opening song ‘ VCR ’, and the crowd

The band exploded into their

Creeper front of the stage , Creepers ’ have always been known for a loyal theatrics began . following , with their most recent Frontman Will Ghould was revealed album hitting the top 5 in the UK , as the curtain dropped to the sound despite a much smaller following on of a vampire themed monologue , his streaming platforms than many of the fist aloft like a superhero raised high artists they outsold , and this was on above the crowd . full display in The Roundhouse .
Creeper are never short of theatrics . Their classics ‘ Suzanne ’ and ‘ Hiding Their albums follow elaborate With Boys ’, opened beautifully as a storylines , and their performances piano ballad before they launched into are a festival of pyrotechnics ; but this the classic punk sound . one-off show entitled ‘ When The Sun Their newest album , ‘ Sex , Death , Comes ’ promised in the lead up to be and the Infinite Void ’, had the crowd their biggest show yet , both in terms of reciting every word , which was very size and spectacle . helpful given the technical issues that interrupted a few of the songs . Creeper have proven themselves as masters of pacing too- they know when to bring the crowd down for
a ballad and when to rile them up with their heaviest songs . A highlight of this being when Ghould exited the stage to hand the microphone to keyboardist Hannah Hermione . She l a tear-jerking rendition of ‘ Crickets ’, before Will re-joined the stage to duet the fan-favourite ‘ Midnight ’.
To Creeper and their fans , this was more than just a show . As the band walked left the stage and the logo of the era fell away , Will Ghould found himself alone with a vampire . The vampire beheaded Ghould , signalling that new era had arrived- and despite the technical issues- the old one was given a perfect send-off .
