DAY 9 • Puerto Natales • Punta Arenas • Embark ship Drive to Punta Arenas , a bustling port overlooking the Strait of Magellan . We ’ ll board our ship , our home for the next four nights as we cruise the waters surrounding Tierra del Fuego . Tonight we gather for a Welcome Dinner onboard .

On Day 12 , we ’ ll go ashore at Cape Horn ( weather permitting ) to explore the legendary promontory at the tip of South America where the Atlantic and Pacific oceans meet .
DAY 10 • Ainsworth Bay • Tuckers Islets Enter the Almirantazgo Inlet and sail into Ainsworth Bay , mooring near the Marinelli Glacier . During a shore excursion ( weather permitting ), we hope to observe a colony of elephant seals . We continue cruising to Tuckers Islets , where we may catch sight of Magellanic penguins .

DAY 11 • Pia Glacier • Glacier Alley Navigate the main part of the Beagle Channel , sailing toward the Pia Glacier . Weather permitting , we ’ ll step ashore and view the glacier where it flows from the Darwin Mountains into the sea . After returning to the ship , we ’ ll sail along the Beagle Channel and through Glacier Alley .

DAY 12 • Cape Horn • Wulaia Bay Sail through the Murray Channel . We ’ ll go ashore ( weather permitting ) and hike the rugged trails that run through Cape Horn National Park , where the Atlantic and Pacific oceans meet just south of this far-flung headland . After , we ’ ll dock in Wulaia Bay , once one of the largest settlements of the Yahgan people , the original inhabitants of the Cape Horn archipelago .

DAY 13 • Disembark ship • Explore Ushuaia
• Local family lunch • Controversial Topic : Falkland War veterans Disembark your ship in Ushuaia , nestled between the snowcapped Andes and the Beagle Channel . Tour the city , then visit a local family and enjoy a home-cooked lunch . This evening , meet a veteran to discuss the Controversial Topic of the Falkland War from an Argentine soldier ’ s perspective . Meals : B , L , D | Cilene del Faro Hotel or similar
DAY 14 • Ushuaia • Buenos Aires Early this morning , fly to Buenos Aires . You ’ ll have some free time in the city for final discoveries before a farewell briefing with your Trip Experience Leader . DAY 15 • Parana Delta • Return to U . S . Take a river boat tour to discover life in the Parana Delta . Then , transfer to the airport for your overnight flight home . Or begin your Iguassu Falls : Thundering Cascades of Argentina & Brazil post-trip extension .
