We ’ ll also discuss the Controversial Topic of the people kidnapped , tortured , and killed during Argentina ’ s military dictatorship of the 1970s . DAY 5 • Los Glaciares National Park • Perito Moreno Glacier • Optional wine tasting tour Enjoy a full-day excursion to Los Glaciares National Park , a UNESCO World Heritage Site that comprises more than 1,700 square miles and nearly 50 large glaciers . Our ultimate destination is Perito Moreno Glacier , towering nearly 200 feet above Lake Argentino . The rest of the evening is at your leisure . DAY 6 • Transfer to Chile • Torres del Paine National Park Head overland to Chile and Torres del Paine National Park , centered around granite peaks that rise above the Patagonian steppe . DAY 8 • Torres del Paine • Ranch visit • Puerto Natales Continue exploring Torres del Paine this morning .
