DAY 1 • Depart U. S. Depart from the airport today on your flight to Lisbon, Portugal.
DAY 2 • Lisbon, Portugal Arrive in Lisbon and transfer to your hotel, where you’ ll meet fellow travelers.

DAY 3 • Lisbon Get an introduction to Lisbon’ s splendor on a panoramic tour, including the Monument of the Discoveries, Belem Tower, and the Ajuda National Palace. Enjoy an included Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 4 • Lisbon Enjoy a more in-depth look at Lisbon today on an included tour featuring the National Tile Museum, and the Parque das Nações( Park of Nations), where we’ ll get a bird’ s-eye view of the city on a cable car ride.

DAY 5 • Portimão • Embark ship Travel to Portimão today, where we’ ll board our small ship, our home for the next twelve nights. We’ ll enjoy a Welcome Dinner as we sail to our next destination.

DAY 6 • Seville, Spain • Olive Oil farm Explore the historic city of Seville today, including a visit to the Real Alcazar, an elaborate royal palace, and the Barrio de Santa Cruz, which in medieval times was the city’ s Jewish quarter. We’ ll then drive into the countryside for a visit to an olive oil farm, where we’ ll sample a few local products over an included lunch.

DAY 7 • Cádiz • Jerez de la Frontera • Andalusian horse show • Winery visit
From our port in Cádiz, we drive to the Andalusian city of Jerez de la Frontera, where we’ ll enjoy a panoramic tour, as well as an Andalusian horse performance, for an introduction to the talents of this prized equestrian breed. We’ ll also enjoy an included lunch at a local winery before returning to the ship.

DAY 8 • Gibraltar Discover Gibraltar on an included tour with a local guide, including Europa Point( the southernmost point in Gibraltar), the limestone labyrinth of St. Michael’ s Cave, and the World War II tunnels, built by the Allies to support local soldiers in the event of a siege.

DAY 9 • Málaga • Home-Hosted Lunch Join a local guide for a walking tour of Málaga, where your discoveries include the ancient Roman theater and a visit to a cofradia( religious brotherhood). This afternoon, enjoy a Home-Hosted Lunch with a local family.

DAY 10 • Tangier, Morocco • Darna Association This morning, enjoy a city tour of Tangier, including a drive by the Old Medina. We’ ll also experience the energy of the souk( market) as we mingle with the locals among the stalls containing aromatic spices, colorful produce, and handicrafts. Then, we’ ll visit the Darna Association, a local organization dedicated to the empowerment of Moroccan women. We’ ll learn about the association’ s work during an included lunch.

DAY 11 • Tetouan Discover Tetouan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We’ ll visit the Royal Palace( which the royal family still inhabits), walk through the lively medina, then stop at
