DAY 1 • Depart U. S. Depart the U. S. and fly to Lisbon, Portugal.
DAY 2 • Lisbon, Portugal Arrive in Lisbon, Portugal, where you’ ll meet travelers who joined our optional Portugal: Lisbon, Sintra Palace & Seaside Cascais pre-trip extension. Later, get acquainted with the city during an orientation walk.

DAY 3 • Lisbon Enjoy a panoramic tour of Lisbon, featuring highlights stemming from Portugal’ s prosperous Age of Discovery, including the Monument of the Discoveries. Then, embark on a walking tour of Alfama, the oldest section of the city.

DAY 4 • Lisbon • Azeitão • Tile workshop visit Explore the village of Azeitão, known for the art of tile-making. First, stop at a tile workshop for a demonstration of this unique Portuguese art form. Paint your own tile with the guidance of a local tile worker. Later, visit Bacalhôa Palace, where we’ ll learn more about these exquisite tiles and explore the idyllic grounds.

DAY 5 • Lisbon • Portimão • Embark ship Head toward Portimão, a city on the Algarve known for its sailing culture. Then, embark the ship this afternoon.

DAY 6 • Seville, Spain While larger vessels are forced to dock elsewhere, you’ ll step off your ship into into the heart of Seville, which you’ ll discover on a panoramic tour. Stroll through the lovely Barrio de Santa Cruz neighborhood— originally the medieval city’ s Jewish quarter— famous for its maze of narrow streets that wind around whitewashed homes, sizable mansions, and airy plazas. You’ ll also discover the city gardens, Plaza de España, Torre del Oro, and Park Maria Luisa. Later, enjoy an authentic flamenco performance after dinner.

DAY 7 • Seville • Córdoba Transfer to Córdoba to discover the city’ s vast religious heritage. Stroll through the Juderia( Jewish Quarter) before continuing on to the city’ s most famous landmark— the Mezquita( Great Mosque).

DAY 8 • Seville • A Day in the Life of a Spanish bull farm
Embark on our A Day in the Life of a Spanish bull farm, where you’ ll get to know the family who runs it, experience the animals firsthand, and enjoy a farmfresh lunch. During our visit, we’ ll also explore the diverse, rustic landscape, as well as meet the other residents of the farm: black pigs and Andalusian horses.
