DAY 9 • Inverness • Culloden Battlefield • Whisky tasting
We’ ll pay a visit to the Culloden Battlefield to learn about the site’ s bloody history before returning to Inverness. Then, we’ ll drive back to Inverness for free time. Later, we’ ll gather for a whisky tasting at The Malt Room.

DAY 10 • Dunkeld • Glamis Castle • Overland to Dundee
We’ ll drive through the lush landscapes of Cairngorms and enjoy a hike with a local naturist along a lovely stretch of the River Tay, where we can view Birnam Oak, the iconic tree from Shakespeare’ s Macbeth. Then, we’ ll drive to Dunkeld, one of the most preserved towns in Scotland. After, we’ ll explore Glamis Castle, situated in Angus, Scotland, a captivating blend of stunning architecture, rich history, and intriguing legends.
Then, we’ ll continue our transfer to Dundee, Scotland’ s fourth largest city.

DAY 11 • St. Andrews • Dundee Today, we’ ll visit St. Andrews for a walking tour of Scotland’ s oldest university town, starting with the clubhouse of St. Andrews Golf Club, where we’ ll learn about the history of one of the oldest golf clubs in the world.

DAY 12 • Overland to Edinburgh • Local Scottish estate visit
On our way to Edinburgh, visit a local Scottish estate to discover everyday life in a typical Highlands estate, where we’ ll have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on activity such as fly-fishing. After, we continue on to Edinburgh, arriving later this afternoon.

Today, we’ ll explore Edinburgh’ s Old and New Towns, UNESCO World Heritage Sites. We’ ll continue up to our final destination, the magnificent Edinburgh Castle, where we’ ll learn about the castle’ s history as a royal residence, fortress, and prison. Then, enjoy the remainder of the day on your own. Or, you can join an optional tour that includes lunch in Linlithgow, followed by a boat tour of Falkirk Wheel and a visit to the Kelpies.

DAY 14 • Edinburgh • Visit Leith Take a local tram to the seaside village of Leith and see the Royal Yacht. Then, enjoy free time before sitting down to a Farewell Dinner with your fellow travelers as you toast to your Scottish discoveries.
