Awake this morning having crossed the Arctic Circle . Learn more about Norwegian aquaculture during a tour of the Lofoten Seafood Center , followed by a tasting . Then Explore the small fishing village of Henningsvaer where we ’ ll find brightly-colored homes scattered across a tiny cluster of islands . More than just a fishing village , Henningsvaer is also a cultural capital with a burgeoning arts scene .

DAY 12 • Svolvaer • Trollfjord cruise Dock in Svolvaer , the capital of Lofoten , and enjoy a scenic cruise , featuring the narrow inlet of Trollfjord . Keep your eyes open for sea eagles in the skies above the towering mountains that flank the fjord .

DAY 13 • Disembark ship • Tromso • Fly to Oslo After we disembark , we ’ ll discover the city of Tromso . A city of more than 50,000 inhabitants , Tromso sprawls across three fjord-indented islands . We ’ ll ride a gondola up the slopes of Mount Storsteinen , then take a walking tour and visit the Polar Museum . Later , we ’ ll head to the airport and fly to Oslo .

DAY 14 • Return to U . S . Transfer to the airport for your flight home . Or , begin your post-trip extension in Oslo : Norway ’ s Cultural Capital .
