estás?
Horrible, gracias por preguntar
(se ríe), sólo bromeaba, estoy
muy bien.
Sabemos que eres un ac-
tor comprometido con el
teatro. ¿En qué medio te
sientes más cómodo, televi-
sión o teatro?
Los disfruto todos por un
montón de diferentes razo-
nes, pero disfruto más de la
audiencia que es capaz de ver
el trabajo televisivo y cinemato-
grá co.
Cuando empezaste en el
mundo de la actuación,
¿tenías claro en qué que-
rías trabajar? (Cine, tea-
tro...)
No, sólo quería salir del su-
permercado donde trabajaba
como reponedor, para ser ho-
nestos.
Un rodaje requiere horas
de preparación, horas de
grabación y tiempos de
espera. ¿Fue difícil combi-
nar el rodaje de la serie con
tu vida personal?
Ayudó mucho que rodásemos
en Escocia. Si hubiésemos
rodado en el extranjero hu-
biese sido mucho más difícil.
Y ahora... ¿Cómo combinas
el trabajo en tu compañía
de teatro, ser el director
artístico del Regal Commu-
nity Theater y tu nuevo pro-
yecto de trabajo con Fraser
Murdoch, con tu familia?
Durmiendo menos y trabajando
más (ríe). Es difícil, si tengo que
ser honesto, pero es mi pasión.
En la serie interpretas a
Ross, un hombre dispuesto
a luchar contra los ingle-
ses con su amigo Kincaid.
¿Te has sentido alguna vez
identi cado con el perso-
naje Ross? ¿Qué o cuánto
hay de Scott en Ross?

How are you?
Terrible, thanks for asking ha
ha only joking I’m very well.
We know that you are an
actor committed to theater.
In what medium do you
feel more comfortable, TV
or theater?
I enjoy them all for a range of di-
erent reasons, but I enjoy the
bigger audience that are able
to see the TV and lm work.
When you started in the
acting world, were you
clear on what you wanted
to work on? (Cinema thea-
tre...)
No, I just wanted to get out of
lling shelves in the supper
market to be honest .
A shoot requires hours of
preparation, hours of re-
cording and waiting times.
Has it been di cult to com-

bine the shooting of the se-
ries with your personal life?
It really helped that we were
lming in Scotland, if we
were abroad it would have
been more di cult.
And now... How can you
combine work in your thea-
ter company, be the artistic
director of the Regal Com-
munity Theater and your
new project of work with
Fraser Murdoch, with your
family?
Sleep less and work more (lau-
ghs), it’s di cult I got to be ho-
nest but it’s my passion.
In the series you play Ross,
a man willing to ght the
English with his friend Kin-
caid. Have you felt identi ed
with the character of Ross?
How much os Scott is the-
re in Ross’ performance?
I think we are all a little
scared in life and there are
always challenges and new
