Dear Readers: On behalf of our Board of Managers and our medical staff leadership, we are pleased to provide you with our fiscal year 2019 outcomes book. This book, highlighting the accomplishments of fiscal year 2019, is intended for clinicians, administrators and healthcare consumers interested in our annual outcomes including updates for cardiovascular research occurring on our Dallas and Fort Worth campuses. We are sharing the outcomes for both sites – Dallas and Fort Worth. We continue to collaborate closely with Baylor University Medical Center, a part of Baylor Scott & White Health, on our Dallas campus, and in Fort Worth with Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth. We are proud of our engagement on the Dallas campus with the graduate medical education programs for cardiovascular fellows. We continue to strive to be on the forefront of innovation in cardiovascular care. We are proud of our growth and outcomes over the past few years and sincerely appreciate the trust and confidence that these two communities have placed in the service offerings and care provided in both Dallas and Fort Worth. In fiscal year 2019, we continued to expand our focused efforts integrating with the communities in providing screenings, community education events and facilitating STEM programs and teaching CPR. 5 As a part of Baylor Scott & White Health, the largest non-profit healthcare organization in Texas, we continue our strong focus on our mission founded in the Christian ministry of healing to promote the well-being of all individuals, families and communities.
