VALVE DISORDERS
The Center for Valve Disorders is a high-volume
program that expands minimally invasive
treatment options for patients with structural
heart disease. Therapies available via the Center
for Valve Disorders include:
• Minimally invasive aortic, mitral, pulmonic and
tricuspid valve repair and replacement
• Transcatheter valve-in-valve implantation for
failed bioprosthetic valves in the aortic and
mitral position
• MitraClip
®
and transcatheter mitral valve repair
(TMVR) for high surgical risk patients with
severe mitral regurgitation
• Balloon mitral valvuloplasty for mitral stenosis
• Percutaneous left atrial appendage occlusion
• Percutaneous patent foramen ovale closure
• Percutaneous atrial septal defect closure
• Alcohol septal ablation for hypertrophic
obstructive cardiomyopathy
Advanced imaging capabilities:
• 384-slice CT scanner
• 1.5 Tesla magnetic resonance imager
