Outcomes 2016 - Baylor Hamilton Heart and Vascular Hospital FY 2016 | Page 64
Our cardiology medical staff demonstrated
commitment this past year to working
collaboratively on quality outcomes and patient
satisfaction. Hospital leadership committed
resources and several millions of dollars in capital
improvements. These efforts have resulted in
a successful fiscal year for heart care through
Baylor Heart and Vascular Services at Fort Worth. The integration
of cardiovascular services across the campuses also allowed us
to offer our patients in Fort Worth and Tarrant County advanced
cardiovascular technologies and patient-centered care, including
access to innovative clinical trial enrollment.

We have been pleased at the
advancements made within fiscal year
2016 for cardiovascular care and look
forward to continuing to grow programs
to meet the community’s increasing
needs. The growth in the first full year of
this collaborative effort was outstanding
and included volumes beyond our projections. The
