Two years ago, Matt became involved in starting
a support group at the Cathedral called Rainbow
Connection.
The Rainbow Connection is an informal support
group for LGBTQ peers, allies, family, and fiends.
Matt became involved with the program because he
wanted to make sure people knew there was a safe,
welcoming place in the community, and he wanted
to ensure people in our community knew that there
was a church that was welcoming to everyone. The
Cathedral of the Rockies flies a banner above their
entrance labeled “All Means All!” and “You are
welcome here.”
There’s no surprise that Matt found his way into
Willison Roos. You can catch Matt with his band at
the Lucky Dog Tavern Thursday December 3rd for
their Queer Art show.
